This shiny red fire truck is modeled after the very popular "sad face" pedal fire truck of the 1940's. It is accurate in all details - even with the rear step instead of a tailgate as in the original.
The real wood latters rest on chrome-plated grab bars. This vehicle also has chrome windshield, steering wheel, ringing bell, and hubcaps. There is even a flashing red light. And as with all of these vintage vehicles, it is made of heavy guage steel just like the originals.
